Edgewater Resort, one of New Zealands premiere resort destinations, is nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake Wanaka. Surrounded by magnificent mountains and uniquely sited for unrestricted access to Lake Wanaka, Edgewater Resort Hotel offers stylish accommodation and facilities to cater to the needs of the discerning guest

Edgewater Resort was named the Best Accommodation Hotel and was a finalist in Excellence in Customer Service category at the recent 2006 Hospitality Association of New Zealand (HANZ) Awards for Excellence.

A fortuitous visit to the resort one evening that introduced Trevor Blockley, Operations Manager for Edgewater Resort, with Dynamix Teamwear. Trevor was planning to up date the uniforms for the resort and, not overwhelmed by his existing supplier, was looking for another option.

His brief was simple. His supplier would be able to:
- Provide a uniform that would enhance the status & identity of Edgewater while reflecting it’s unique environment.
- Outfit all departments (front of house, hospitality, porters, maintenance & management) maintaining a consistent image across all departments, while taking into account the extremes of temperature between summer and winter.
- They would provide reliable, on time delivery, and would support any initial order with an on-going back up & after sales service.
- And he only wanted to deal with one supplier including the provision of all monogramming.

The proposal presented by DYNAMIX included a mixture of off the shelf stock garments and made to order styles customised with the earth tones of Edgewater Resorts colour scheme. The overall result was a consistency of colour and look across all departments, and a mixture of garments that could be layered to take the staff from the heat of summer to the cold of a Central Otago winter.
